“A BETTER WAY” NEEDS YOUR HELP

October has been designated as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  A Better Way is a safe house for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.  Often these women leave home with just their children and the clothes they are wearing, and they have no money of their own.  Items are needed to help these women transition into a safe environment.  There is a receptacle in the Rotunda for your donations.  Items needed include: underclothes for women and children (all sizes), toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, hygiene items, new or gently used pajamas for women and children (all sizes).  If you can help with this project, place your items in the bin by October 31.  Thank you for helping these women and children get a new start.
