HANDBELL FESTIVAL

On Sunday, April 29, at 4 p.m., Hazelwood will host a handbell festival. Three handbell choirs will take part: Hazelwood, College Avenue Methodist, and the Kalamazoo Ringers. This Michigan choir sports 150 bells and chimes, and it is one of the hottest handbell choirs in the Midwest.  They are on a Spring Tour, and we are very fortunate to have them come to Hazelwood.

There will be people come from great distances to hear them.  Our time together will include two numbers performed by all three choirs. One of these is “Holy Is The Cry,” with trumpet, timpani, organ, and congregational singing.  You may remember we did this piece last month, to help learn the singing part. Please invite your friends to come.

A freewill offering will be accepted, to help with expenses.
