Monica Pavel-Kissinger came from Romania in 1997, together with her family. They settled in Chicago until this summer when they all moved to Redkey, IN. She studied Piano Performance for her bachelors degree at DePaul University in Chicago, and her masters degree in Choral Conducting and Piano Performance at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, MI. While at Andrews University, she met her husband, Josef, when he joined the University Choir in order to meet her. This past July they celebrated their 2nd anniversary. They love outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, skiing, and most of all, traveling. They are very happy to be here, and they hope to have the opportunity to meet you all. Monica (Romanian pronunciation, mah-NEE-kah) will be conducting our bell choir and our adult vocal choir. Please make Monica and Josef feel welcome!
