Christmas Mission Projects

There are several opportunities for congregants to reach out a hand to those who are in need again this Christmas season. Here are just 3 ways you can help:

  1. We will have individuals up for “adoption” again this year, through the Mental Health Association. Stop by the display in the Rotunda. Help someone feel remembered this Christmas Season.
  2. Volunteers are needed to help with our Christmas Box Project this year. We will be packing the boxes on Thursday, December 13, at 7 p.m., in the Rotunda and Library. Delivery will be Saturday, December 15, at 8 a.m. If you can help pack or deliver, please contact Heather Hernly, 748-0686. There will be a sign-up sheet starting this Sunday. We need to raise $3,000 this year. If you wish to contribute to this project, make your check payable to Hazelwood Christian Church, and mark your check “Christmas Box Project, 2012.” Most importantly, please pray for each family receiving these gifts of food and toys.
  3.  Hazelwood is ringing bells for the Salvation Army, and we need your help. When: Saturday, December 22, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Monday, December 24, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Where: Marsh on Wheeling, at the West Door. Sign up will begin Sunday, December 2, in the Rotunda.

May we be the hands and feet of Christ this Christmas season.
