Celebrate! will have a five-part series for Advent that uses the classic holiday film, “It’s A Wonderful Life,” as a creative vehicle to preach the lessons of Advent. Each week of the series features a clip from the movie, followed by a brief dramatic appearance by an “actor” depicting a character we will have just seen in black and white. The “actor” expands upon the theme for the day, and then they will light the appropriate Advent candle. Rev. Colby will then follow with scripture and sermon, based on the film clip. We hope that you will join us during Advent, and we hope you invite some new folks to church to experience the love of Christ, and the Christmas story, anew.
