CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
The week of January 12 – 18, fourteen meals were prepared and served at the Sleeping Room, by the following Hazelwood angels: Don & Cheryll Crose; Jill, Annie and Caroline Clark; Dick & Marcia Miller; Ann Wolfe; Peggy Fast; Mary Ann Matchett and Betsy Peckinpaugh; Jeff, Kelly & Michael Heavilon; Larry & Sonja Rees; Ed & Barb Marlow; Bill & Dee Moser; Dennis Holmes and Carolyn McShurley; Shirley Bookout. A big THANKS to all who helped in this mission.
MISSIONS AND BENEVOLENCE 2014 COMMITTEE
Committee members are Marcia Miller, Wendy Rees, Jim Warrner, Carol Schussler, and Shirley Boookout, chair. The committee met on Tuesday, January 21 and approved the following disbursements:
- Muncie Mission (Walk-A-Mile): $500
- Habitat for Humanity: $500
- YWCA: $500
- Christian Ministries: $500
- Christian Ministries/Hope House: $500
- A Better Way: $500
LOOKING AHEAD
Christian Ministries Food Pantry Volunteers are needed for the following dates: Wednesday, March 12; Thursday, March 13; Friday, March 14, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Three volunteers are needed for each date. If you have extra brown paper bags, please bring them with you, to be used for sacking food. Please prayerfully consider helping with this worthwhile community service project.
