We are starting a new study and fellowship group, which will meet in the Sulanke Fellowship House, East Room, Sunday mornings from 9 – 9:45 a.m. Our first meeting will be April 19. The initial study will be based on Rev. John Ortberg’s book “Who Is This Man?” (The Unpredictable Impact of the Inescapable Jesus). The study will be led by Glen Sulanke. This book explores the tremendous impact Jesus’ ministry has had on the world. We see this impact in many of the institutions we take for granted – such as hospitals, public schools, and higher education – and basic attitudes about human rights and relationships. The world is a much better place because of Jesus, not just for Christians, but for everyone. Small groups, for study and fellowship, have always been an essential part of the lives of individuals and families at Hazelwood, and the congregation as a whole. This group will continue to meet to study topics of interest to the participants. We will be using adult-level study materials, but everyone is welcome.
