CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES FOOD PANTRY
Our next opportunity to volunteer at the food pantry is December 16, 17, and 18. Volunteers distribute food from 8:45 a.m.—12:30 p.m. Prayerfully consider helping. For more information, or to volunteer, contact Marcia Miller at 759-7066. Hazelwood has an ongoing collection area for the food pantry. Bring your non-perishable items. They are always in need of food!
STUFF-A-BUS
Christian Ministries Stuff-A-Bus program is scheduled for Friday, November 6 and 13. This program is used to literally “stuff a MITS bus” with canned goods, toilet paper, diapers, cereal, and other non-perishable items. Volunteers are needed to pass out flyers to customers at the Marsh stores on Tillotson and McGalliard. If you are able to help with this fundraiser, please call Cheryll Crose at 759-8655. We would also like to remind everyone to shop at one of the Marsh stores on those dates from 11 a.m.—7 p.m. We will collect your canned/non-perishable grocery items and/or cash donations. Help us to stock the food pantry this Fall for those who need help in feeding and caring for their families.
CROP WALK
Thank you to these 17 walkers and to all who made contributions to this year’s CROP Walk. We raised $1,038 to address hunger needs locally and globally. Thank you to James and Logan Petty, Shirley Bookout, Bill and Dee Moser, Don and Cheryll Crose, Jim and Nancy Reece, Andy, Bryn, and Jairen Rees, Glen Sulanke, Felix Muhiga, Mariangella, Andrew, and Adam Glaze, and Ann Wolfe and Petey, the dog.
BALL STATE HOMECOMING
On Saturday, October 3, the Youth and Missions and Benevolence Team parked cars for the BSU Homecoming parade as a fundraiser for the Christmas Box Project. Those who helped included: James Petty, Andy and Bryn Rees, Courtney Rees, Jim Warrner, Marcia Miller, and Shirley Bookout. The total collected was $144. Thanks to all!
