ALL-CHURCH PROPERTY WORK DAY

Like the rest of the Hazelwood Staff, our caretakers, John and Randy, work hard and put in countless hours above and beyond what they are paid for. Despite the extra efforts, it is not possible for them to keep up with the never-ending list of tasks that need to be done in order to keep the grounds and buildings looking their best. There are simply too many things that need done. And that’s where the rest of us come in!

Join us for an All Church Work Day on Saturday, August 20. We will gather at 8:30 a.m. for donuts and juice in the library. Work starts at 9 a.m. and will continue until noon. If you can hold a dust rag, wash a window, vacuum a carpet, sweep a sidewalk, or pull some weeds, we can put you to work. There are quite a few jobs, both inside and out, that need done, and we can use all the helping hands we can get!

Not able to join in on the All Church Work Day? You can still do your part! Next time you see a cobweb in the corner, or a piece of paper on the ground, don’t pass it by. Grab a tissue and get that cobweb! Bend down and pick up that piece of paper! Have a couple of free hours during the week? Let John know. He is always happy to have some volunteer help! Just like it takes a village to raise a child, it takes the whole church family to care for our buildings and grounds and keep them in a state we can all be proud of.
