Join us for an All Church Work Day on Saturday, August 27. (The date is different in the newsletter because it was changed AFTER the newsletter was published). We will gather at 8:30 a.m. for donuts and juice in the Library. Work starts at 9 a.m. and will continue until noon. If you can hold a dust rag, wash a window, vacuum a carpet, sweep a sidewalk, or pull some weeds, we can put you to work. There are quite a few jobs, both inside and out, that need done in order to be ready and welcoming for all the great Fall events we have planned here at Hazelwood, and we can use all the helping hands we can get!

Not able to join in on the All Church Work Day? You can still do your part! Next time you see a cobweb in the corner, or a piece of paper on the ground, don’t pass it by. Grab a tissue and get that cobweb! Bend down and pick up that piece of paper! Have a couple of free hours during the week? Let John know. He is always happy to have some volunteer help! Just like it takes a village to raise a child, it takes the whole church family to care for our buildings and grounds and keep them in a state we can all be proud of.
