YOUTH NEWS 10-13-16

ALL YOUTH FELLOWSHIP

Last Sunday we continued to look at Spiritual Disciplines that can help us in our Christian walk and in facing the things we deal with daily at school, in sports, in preparing for college, and in our relationships with friends and families. One of the most important things we can do is pray. Prayer is our chance to have a conversation with God. In our quiet time, we can pray through the passages we read in the Bible, pray for the challenges we face, and pray for our friends and family. As we go about our day, we can say a short prayer as we face temptations, become anxious, feel hurt or sad, and at many other times. These short prayers can reframe our attitude and help us focus on what is important.

Our next AYF will be Sunday, October 23. We will wrap up our discussion on Spiritual Disciplines and focus on our upcoming activities.
