“Then the king will say to those at his right Hand, “Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.”

Matthew 25:34-36

Join us during All Youth Fellowship to explore ways we can make this passage a reality!

Sunday, February 5: We will be collecting change after the worship service for our “Soup-er Bowl Sunday Change for Change”. Please bring a soup bowl from home to collect change.

Saturday, February 11: I encourage everyone to participate in the Walk-A-Mile. You can walk, gather pledges, or pledge another person. Information about this event can be found in the Rotunda on Sunday or by contacting Shirley Bookout. AFTERWARDS, we will meet for an All Youth Fellowship activity. We will have a quick lunch and then, with the change collected from the “Change for Change,” we will take hot meals downtown Muncie to feed the homeless.

Sunday, February 12: This is our church’s Valentine Dinner carry in. Please join us as we fellowship with the larger church family. Because of our event on Saturday and the Valentine Dinner, there will be no All Youth Fellowship afterwards.

Sunday, February 26: We will meet as normal in Cartwright Hall for lunch and fellowship at 11:30 a.m. We will watch a short movie, discuss how that message impacts us and our community, and discover ways we can be part of the solution.

YOUTH SPRING ASSEMBLY: Mark your calendars for April 28–30 for the annual Youth Spring Assembly at the Geneva Center. This is a wonderful event for high school and middle school youth. It is a great chance to meet other youth from the Indiana Disciples region, with worship and activities tailored to you. Please contact Rev. James if you are interested in attending this event or would like more information.
