WHITE RIVER CLEANUP

The Hoosier Environmental Council is coordinating a clean-up effort along the Mounds Greenway. The Hazelwood Youth will be taking part on Saturday, June 10 at 9 a.m., and they want to invite the rest of the congregation to join them.

The goal for this project is to help make the White River corridor—and the parks that call it home—a cleaner, greener place for all to enjoy. The Mounds Greenway spans from Anderson to Muncie along the West Fork of the White River. Multiple groups will be helping with the cleanup, so don’t fret, we won’t be responsible for the whole stretch! Details are still being worked out as to the exact location of our site, so more information will be coming soon.

This project is a wonderful opportunity for Hazelwood to be good stewards of our community and God’s creation. Sign up begins Sunday, May 21 in the Rotunda after Worship. If you have any questions, please contact Rev. James in the church office.
