It is hard to believe it’s that time of year again– time for the Hazelwood Fall Bazaar! Join us on Saturday, November 11 from 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be plenty to see, do, and (of course!) eat. This event is one of the main fundraisers for our youth and preschool programs and is such a fun way to show your support!

It takes many hands to make the Bazaar a success. There are lots of tasks, big and small, that need to be done, and any and all help in accomplishing these tasks is truly appreciated! Below are a few of the many ways in which you can help. Stop by the sign up table in Sulanke Commons during Coffee Fellowship for more information or to let us know how you would like to help.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We will need volunteers for one– or two-hour periods for various jobs such as selling lunch tickets, serving food, and cleaning up during the lunch, selling tickets for and assisting with the Children’s Festival, and, of course, cleaning up after the big event (sweeping, picking up trash, wiping down the tables, etc.).

BAKE SALE

We are looking for individuals willing to make and donate all kinds of goodies– cookies, cupcakes, breads, candies, etc. These scrumptious creations will be sold at the youth/preschool table during the bazaar.

SILENT AUCTION

If you would like to participate in a fun way, why not donate to the Silent Auction? You can help by donating new items, gift cards, or even cash. Kay Shnuck and Mary Ann Matchett would be happy to use your donations when putting baskets together. Or, if you would rather donate a completed basket, that would be great! Be sure to let Kay and Mary Ann know your basket’s “theme” and approximate value as soon as possible so they can avoid duplication. It’s great fun to bid on these baskets yourself and to watch the action when two or three people are bidding on the same basket!

VENDORS

If you would like to have a booth to sell your wares at the Bazaar, contact Julie Thomas at (765) 215-3465 or by email at jubet77@comcast.net. Booths consist of a 6-foot table and 2-3 chairs for $30, or two 6-foot tables and chairs for $50. You may bring a square card table to add to your space for an additional $5. Booth reservations are already coming in, so be sure to contact Julie as soon as possible!
