On Good Friday we have the opportunity to keep a prayer vigil as part of Hazelwood’s observance of Lent. This “Day of Prayer” begins at 6 a.m. on March 30 and lasts until 6 p.m. Please consider choosing a 30-minute portion and indicate when you sign up if you plan to pray in our Chapel (the room off the lectern-side of the Sanctuary) or at home. The Chapel will have devotional literature and a Bible available.
Setting aside a portion of time for prayer on this particular day of Holy Week is a poignant and meaningful experience. Sign-up begins on Sunday, March 11 after the service. Look for the “Day of Prayer” board in Sulanke Commons.
