MONTH OF MISSIONS
May is our month of Missions Awareness! Throughout the month we will make a special effort to highlight opportunities to serve, volunteer, and support our community.
CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES’ FOOD PANTRY
Hazelwood is scheduled to serve at the Christian Ministries’ Food Pantry from 8:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on May 8, 9, & 10. Volunteers are needed. Please contact Shirley Bookout (765) 744-1207 to sign up or for more information.
WINNIE’S KIDS
For the remainder of April and continuing through May 19, we will be accepting donations to help ‘Winnie’s Kids’ in Kenya. Each donation received will be matched, up to a total of $1,000, from the Missions & Benevolence Sulanke Trust. Please mark all contributions ‘Winnie’s Kids,’ place it in either a red-bordered envelope or envelope from the worship chairs in the Sanctuary, and add it to the offering plate during Sunday morning worship (if writing a check, it would greatly help our bookkeeper if you write a separate check from your regular offering). We will present Winnie with our offering on Sunday, May 26. There are great needs in Kenya, so please prayerfully consider how you can help ‘Winnie’s Kids.’
