Christian Ministries’ Steps for Hunger

Christian Ministries has the largest food pantry in Delaware County. Located at 401 E. Main St. in downtown Muncie, the pantry is open four days a week and provides staple items, meat, and fresh fruits and vegetables (when available).
- Food pantry hours are Tuesday from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and Wednesday-Friday from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. every week.
- The food pantry serves an estimated 212 families each month, impacting over 420 individuals.
- U.S.D.A. Commodities are available to eligible households. Eligibility is based upon the number in the household.
- The food pantry is limited to one visit per household per month. Picture ID is required.
- In 2018 the Christian Ministries Food Pantry provided food for 4,450 families and 12,266 individuals. During that time, they received 18,952 donated food items and distributed over 50,000 food items.
