Christian Ministries’ Steps for Hunger

Sunday, October 13 at Hazelwood Christian Church

Registration at 1:30 p.m., Walk begins at 2 p.m.

This walk is replacing CROP Walk in order to keep more of the funds local for Christian Ministries’ Food Pantry. Twenty-five percent of the funds raised will still go to Church World Services– CROP.

There are two ways you can help support the food pantry through Christian Ministries’ Steps for Hunger: STEP ONE: Sign up to WALK and ask people to sponsor you; STEP TWO: Sponsor a Hazelwood Walker.

Sign up continues through October 13 in Sulanke Commons– prayerfully consider how you can help. We hope to have a big turn out of walkers in support of the walk and our church.

Volunteers are needed for the Christian Ministries’ Food Pantry on November 6, 7, & 8. For more information or to sign up contact Marcia Miller at (765) 730-5552.

Saturday, October 19

8 a.m.-Noon

Not only is Hazelwood in a prime location to see the Ball State Homecoming Parade, we are also fortunate to have a large parking lot in an area where public parking is at a premium. To make the most of our situation, Hazelwood will offer parking to the public on the morning of the parade in return for a $3 donation per vehicle.

This event is sponsored by our Hazelwood Youth and Missions & Benevolence Team. The money raised from this project helps support our Christmas Box Project, where we help less fortunate families in Delaware County have some comfort and joy during the Holiday Season.

Mark your calendars now, and sign up in Sulanke Commons after worship to volunteer and support this worthy cause!
