CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES’ STEPS FOR HUNGER

“If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed one.”
~Mother Teresa

Several churches joined together at Hazelwood Christian Church for the Christian Ministries’ Steps for Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 13. The most walkers from one church came from Hazelwood with the following walkers: Shirley Bookout, Jason Jones, Jay Matchett, Nlandu Matuka, Yeno Matuka, Bill Moser, Felix Muhiga, Winnie Muhiga, and Jairen Rees. Cheryll Crose provided new signs for the walk to be used each year.

Hazelwood walkers and walkers-in-spirit raised a grand total of $1,335 for the walk. Thanks to all who walked and/or contributed. It was a beautiful fall day; the weather was perfect to walk!

We raised $114 to help support our Christmas Box Project, where we help less fortunate families in Delaware County have some comfort and joy during the holiday season.
