The Search Committee interviewed a candidate for Interim Minister recommended by our Region, conducted via Zoom on Friday night 1-29-2021. The interview went quite well, the committee agreed on asking the person, and the position was offered the following Monday morning 2-1-2021. The candidate was very interested, but they ended up accepting a call from another church within commuting distance.
Carolyn Reed, Associate Regional Minister, is working on finding another possible Interim candidate. I join fellow Search Committee members Tony Gill, Joanna Hahn, Winnie Muhiga, and Jason Ratts in welcoming new member Rachel Smith to the Committee.
