WINNIE’S KIDS

Through May 2, we will be accepting donations to help ‘Winnie’s Kids’ in Kenya. Each donation will be matched, up to a total of $1,000, from the Missions & Benevolence Sulanke Trust. Please mark all contributions ‘Winnie’s Kids,’ and be sure to make your donation separately from your regular offering to help our bookkeeper. We will present Winnie with our offering on Sunday, May 9. There are great needs in Kenya, so please prayerfully consider how you can help ‘Winnie’s Kids.’

IN SEARCH OF VOLUNTEERS

“Dear Hazelwood,

SAWs© is an ecumenical, faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing freedom to low-income, permanently disabled individuals through the construction of high quality wheelchair ramps. Originally started in Indianapolis, our organization serves clients across Indiana.

Volunteers power our mission. Whether you like to build ramps, make phone calls to prospective recipients, or prepare and serve refreshments for our build teams, we have a place for you. We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, from teens to octogenarians, both men and women. We’re currently seeking volunteers to help build ramps this spring and summer for Muncie residents who are disabled.

To schedule a time to volunteer, or for more information, call (317) 459-8756.

In His service and yours,”

Mary Beth Trotter, SAWs©
