Members of the Hazelwood Community Garden Team are assisting our preschool with a Butterfly Garden. The creation is a work in progress, just as we tend to be! A Butterfly Bush was planted last autumn, and it is now starting to come back to its original glory. You’ll notice the area has been expanded and will soon have Milkweed and likely a Bee Balm planted. The goal was to feature a temporary trapezoid to help teach shapes. Many thanks to Don Crose for rototilling the soil to get it ready!
