COVID-19 PROTECTION PLAN UPDATE 6-3-21

By the time you read this newsletter, the morning receptionists are starting to come back, and the afternoon receptionists will return the week of July 19th when Rev. Pamela begins her interim position. The biggest change will be starting this Sunday, June 6th. Masks in the Sanctuary, Rotunda, and other building areas will be optional for members and visitors who are fully vaccinated. All others will be expected to wear masks while in the building. Offering counters and communion prep people will no longer need to wear gloves. Using hand sanitizer will still be mandatory, however, and supplies kept available.

We anticipate being able to offer Sunday School and Nursery Care once school starts up again for the 2021-2022 academic year. Coffee Fellowship will likely resume, and the 2-in-1 communion packets might be retired at that time as well. Lifting or restoring any restrictions will be guided by how well the virus remains under control. Until further notice, maintaining attendance records for contact-tracing purposes will continue. The COVID-19 Protection Plan Team will keep us posted with updates.
