Prayer Chain

Your Board of Elders at Hazelwood Consists of twelve members. As Elders, we share in the total ministry of the Church. We share in a partnership with Rev. Colby and we all are part of his ministerial team. We are charged with the oversight of the spiritual and pastoral ministry of Hazelwood, and in the shepherding care of our members.
A large part of the partnership the Elders share with Rev. Colby involves prayer. As Elders, we value the use of prayer, and we know the power that it has in helping to direct the planning and work of our congregation. We also understand how powerful prayer can be when individuals have personal concerns that may have arisen in their lives.
To this end, Hazelwood has a prayer chain available for the congregation. When events occur in your life where you would like the support, confort, and strength that prayer can provide, all you need to do is call. Any Elder is available for prayer at any time. Once the first contact is made, the Elder will insure that the chain is started. Within a short time, your concerns will be lifted up to the Lord with faith, hope, and love.

Please contact one of the Elders to request a prayer or contact the Church Office (282-5969) and talk to Linette Cook. She will contact an Elder on your behalf and the prayer chain will begin.
