Chancel Choir - Dr. William Wakeland, Director

Meet: Wednesday, 7:15 - 8:30 p.m. in the Choir Loft

The choir is made up of dedicated people who enjoy singing. Music is presented at the traditional service by the chancel choir. At several time throughout the year, special musical events are prepared and presented at Hazelwood. On special occasions, the special music is presented at a variety of venues throughout the community.

Sometimes to provide special music, the chancel choir is accompanied by instrumentalists.

Organist - Ruth Wakeland

Ruth is an accomplished organist and provides leadership in the traditional service for the congregational singing of hymns. She accompanies the Chancel Choir on the organ, piano or the "little" organ. Ruth also provides special music through out the year.

 

Hazelwood Hand Bell Choir - Dr. William Wakeland, Director

Meet: Wednesday, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the choir room in the church basement.

The Hazelwood Hand bell choir members understand and demonstrate their dedication to team work as they practice and present hand bell music for special services during traditional worship.

On special occasions, hand bell music is presented at a variety of venues throughout the community.

Children's Choir - Dr. Ann Wolfe, Director

Sunday School Music, 10:10-10:30 a.m.
Rainbow Youth Group Music, 5:30-6:00 p.m. Sunday Evenings

Children of the Hazelwood Children's choir provide special music at the traditional worship on special occasions. They will be singing on Palm Sunday and Mother's Day.
