Missions and Benevolence Committee is encouraging anyone who is interested in participating in a local fundraising event to join the 3rd Annual "Walk A Mile In My Shoes" which is sponsored by Muncie Mission Ministries, Inc.
Registration forms are available in the Hazelwood office. Anyone needing a ride to the Horizon Center can meet at the church between 8-8:30 a.m., Saturday morning. Members unable to walk but who want to support this worthwhile project, can make a pledge donation by writing a check to Hazelwood and indicating on the check to direct the donation to the "Walk A Mile In My Shoes" fund.
Transportation back to the convention center will be provided by MITS. Refreshments will be available at the start and finish of the walk. Participants will receive an official 2007 "Walk A Mile In My Shoes" T-shirt.
