Wednesday Night Bible Study
LIGHT N.E.S.T. Group - Deeper Study of the Bible

All who are interested in a deeper study of the Bible are invited to join this small study group. We will be using the Standard Lesson Commentary of the International Sunday School Lessons as our guide.

As we approach Christmas, we will discover that the message about Jesus Christ is ever new. We will learn who Jesus Christ is, what God says about Him, the Light that Conquers, and about the Word becoming flesh.

Our group will be meeting at the home of Barb Gill on the first and third Wednesday of every month. The group looks forward to meeting new friends and expanding our group.

In the coming months the following topics will be discussed:

October 3rd, 7:00 pm.
I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life
Scripture: John 14:1-14
October 17th, 7:00 pm.
I Am the True Vine
Scripture: John 15: 1-17
November 7th, 7:00 pm.
The Bible vs. The Book of Mormon
This film puts the Bible and the Book of Mormon to the tests of history, archaeology, textual criticism, and other disciplines to find out what is true and what is false. Discover for yourself which of these books is worthy of being called "scripture" and which is worthy of your trust.
November 19th (time to be announced)
The Ultimate Gift. This film will teach us that life is how you live it . . . not how you spend it.
